Project findings demonstrate water quality benefits of treatment wetlands
The Sacramento Constructed Wetlands Demonstration Project was a
five-year project conducted from January 1994 to December 1998.
The emphasis of the project was on describing how treatment
wetlands help remove trace metals.
Objectives of the project were to:
Monitor, analyze and describe how treatment wetlands improve
Identify what happens to trace metals within treatment
Develop and evaluate treatment wetlands management methods
