Bufferlands Birds—Amazing Shorebirds
Please join us for an introduction to the amazing world of shorebirds. These are among the most dynamic, interesting, and well-travelled animals on the planet. Yet, they are often overlooked even by intermediate birders as too difficult—they’re not. You’re invited to learn about the 31 species (stilts, avocets, plovers, sandpipers, etc.) that have been recorded on the Bufferlands, and not just how to identify them, but where they come from and about their amazing life histories.
