Economic Development Treatment Capacity Bank Program

Regional San set up the Economic Development Treatment Capacity Bank Program (Econ Bank) to promote economic development within the Sacramento area by distributing Econ Bank credits to jurisdictions within its service area.

To receive a discount on Regional San sewer impact fees, new customers connecting to the sewer system may apply for Econ Bank credits through their jurisdiction. The sewer impact fee discount is adjusted each year according to the conditions stated in the Econ Bank Agreement between Regional San and each jurisdiction. The Econ Bank program will expire on December 31, 2020.
