Joseph Maestretti was hired as the Chief Financial Officer in April 2011. Prior to joining the team, Maestretti was employed with the City of Stockton starting in 1990. There he held multiple positions, including Capital Improvement Program Coordinator and ultimately Budget Officer. He also served the City as the Fiscal Manager of the Stockton Police Department from 1990 to 2006. Prior to that, Maestretti served as an Auditor and Audit Supervisor with the California State Auditor.
Maestretti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento. He is also a Certified Public Accountant actively licensed in the State of California since 1987.
